SNAP or The Spay Neuter Assistance Project helps Franklin County low income pet owners with a subsidized spay or neuter. If you know a pet owner who is on public assistance and needs their female animal fixed, please call the Franklin County Humane Society at 540-489-3491.
Barn Cat Buddies: There are so many wild and semi socialized cats who deserve a second chance at life. Many are picked up by animal control and brought to the county shelter. We know these cats, while not interested in human companionship will mouse in exchange for free room and board. These cats come to your facility fully vetted (sterilized and vaccinated). Please open up your barn to a pair of rodent control technicians. Call FCHS at 489-3491.
